Denali, our wonderful great dane puppy, my boyfriend, and I live outside Chicago. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible, good dog owners, and good neighbors. Denali is our amazing 1 yr old puppy who has thrilled us from the beginning. He's getting big at 130 lbs, but still has at least 10-15 to go--he's like a skinny teenage boy. As big as he is, he thinks he is about 30 lbs and is very puppyish. He never ceases to amaze me with his goofiness.
This blog is about our adventures with him and his puppydom and all of the knowledge we've amassed in our hectic year of dog rearing. We go to a holistic vet, try to feed him the best food, and make sure he gets lots of playtime with his buddies. All the time trying to be reasonable, after all his favorite thing to do is roll in some dirty grass, so how bad can it all be?
